Magic SG Jalen Suggs Praises Teammates After Win vs. Jazz

One of the best parts about the Orlando Magic is its team chemistry, and it showed in the team's last win.

The Orlando Magic got its second straight win on Thursday night against the Utah Jazz, and it was truly a team win.

One of the things that the Magic takes pride in is teamwork, and it showed in full force in the win. Jalen Suggs talked more about the team chemistry in his postgame interview.

"Whether you're not feeling the best mentally, physically, whatever it is, you know, taking care of the task at hand… And I think it, with the guys that we have in the locker room, makes it easy to do that," Suggs said. "And very competitive. You know, it's a fun group, it's a loving group. Everybody wants each other to succeed and then ultimately for the team to succeed. And I mean, you saw tonight, you know, I think everybody played great, everybody contributed, and (it was) a great win. A win is always great."

The Magic had five players that scored in double-digits in the win, and Paolo Banchero led the team in scoring in his first game back from his illness. He finished with 29 points, nine rebounds, and six assists.

The team currently sits in sixth place in the Eastern Conference and is very close to the teams above it. If the Magic can keep it up and use its team chemistry to form a late push, then it could finish the year in perfect position to make some noise in the playoffs.

The Magic will be back in action on Sunday against Cade Cunningham and the Detroit Pistons at home. Tipoff is set for 6 p.m. ET in the Kia Center.
