The Orlando Magic finished the season with the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference, and head coach Jamahl Mosley couldn't be prouder.

The NBA regular season is over, and the Orlando Magic was able to finish the season strong and finish with a top-five seed.

After missing the playoffs entirely last season, the Magic turned it right around and finished this season with the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference. Coach Jamahl Mosley said how proud he was of his team in his postgame interview after the team's win against the Milwaukee Bucks.

"So proud, there’s not really a lot of words for it," Mosley said. "You talk about a group who has been up and down, battled back, resilient. We say all the words, all the cliché words that we want, but they showed it. They proved it. Big stakes, they took it in their own hands and played together, played the right way. Our fans were freaking amazing, like incredible. Just our fan base, our support for this group, its just something they should be proud of and it’s something they should enjoy. They should embrace who they are as a group and not shy away from it."

The Magic was able to finish with the fifth seed as a result of its win against the Bucks. If the team had lost, it would have fallen under the Indiana Pacers and the Phildelphia 76ers and had to compete in the Play-In Tournament.

But since the team was able to win when it mattered, they will be up against Donovan Mitchell and the Cleveland Cavaliers in the first round of the playoffs. Game one of the series will be played on Saturday at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.
