Magic Legend Shaquille O'Neal Posts Hospital Photo; Cause For Concern?

Former Orlando Magic great Shaquille O'Neal posted a photo of himself in a hospital bed last night, causing concern.

Orlando Magic legend Shaquille O'Neal took to Twitter Sunday night, posting a photo of himself in a hospital bed. The 2016 Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame inductee included a caption directed toward his NBA on TNT crew members Ernie Johnson and Candace Parker.

O'Neal, 51, did not provide any additional information. The shared photo first surfaced on the internet days ago -- not making his undisclosed infirmities any more or less acute.

His co-host Parker retweeted the image, saying "Love ya big Fella," later that night. Unsubstantiated rumblings have surfaced that the four-time NBA champion may have undergone a hip procedure of some sort, though confirmation from O'Neal's team has not been made public.

O'Neal has also been active on Instagram, posting twice in the last two days. After spending four seasons in Orlando and leading the Magic to the 1995 NBA Finals, the 15-time All-Star has decided to bring jobs and joviality to the city as Fox 35 Orlando recently reported on the upcoming launch of his restaurant 'Big Chicken' later this year.

The business endeavor has long been dreamed of by O'Neal on Inside the NBA. However, business comes second to health and welfare.

Regardless of what landed him in the hospital or the extent of his infirmities, many in the NBA world were given reason to be alarmed. Nonetheless, we're wishing the big man a speedy recovery.
