Win or Lose, Jamahl Mosley Wants Magic to Stay The Same

One of the main things that Orlando Magic head coach Jamahl Mosley preaches to his team is consistency, no matter the outcome of a game.

The Orlando Magic has had a great start to its season, as the team is 21-16, and is currently in the playoff picture. But even if the team was not playing like it is, head coach Jamahl Mosley would want his guys playing with the same confidence.

The biggest thing that Mosley values in his coaching philosophy is consistency, whether that be with the players in the lineup or the mindset the team brings to its games. No matter if the Magic is winning or losing, Mosley wants his players to have the same attitude, and he spoke more about this in a recent interview.

"You have to be willing and wanting to step in and take the shots and our guys all do it with confidence and that's what we continue to preach," Mosley said. "It's not always about the outcome. It's about willing and wanting to be able to do the right thing no matter what the game is telling you."

The team will need this mindset going forward, as it is dealing with a lot of injuries at the moment. If the Magic can get through this rough stretch without some of its key players, the team could be in prime position after the All-Star break.

The Magic will be back in action tonight in its first game of a four-game road trip against the Miami Heat, who is also dealing with its fair share of injuries. Tipoff is set for 8 p.m. ET in the Kaseya Center.
