On March 20, the Phoenix Suns gave former Nuggets guard Isaiah Thomas a chance to return to the NBA with a 10-day contract. They've now officially re-signed Thomas to a second 10-day contract.

The Phoenix Suns have officially announced that they've signed Isaiah Thomas to a second 10-day contract with the team.

Throughout Thomas' first 10-day contract, he hasn't seen much playing time with the team. There was a moment where fans really wanted to see him on the court during a blowout win, but Thomas didn't get time. On March 20, he played two minutes against the Philadelphia 76ers. On March 29, he played 8 minutes against the Oklahoma City Thunder and put up 5 points and 1 assist on 2/4 shooting from the field.

The Phoenix Suns do not have an easy schedule moving forward for the rest of the regular season. Their remaining eight games are against the following teams: New Orleans Pelicans, Cleveland Cavaliers, Minnesota Timberwolves, New Orleans Pelicans, LA Clippers, LA Clippers, Sacramento Kings, and Minnesota Timberwolves. Every single team that the Suns go against are going to be against potential championship contending teams. It's tough to see whether Thomas will get any playing time during these games, but if anyone gets injured, he likely will see the court.

Hopefully, Isaiah Thomas can find himself a new home in the NBA.
