Devin Booker's Injury Status for Nuggets vs Suns Revealed

Devin Booker's injury status has been revealed.

The Denver Nuggets and Phoenix Suns face off in a Western Conference Semifinals rematch, but Phoenix will have to do it without arguably their best player.

The Suns have officially listed Devin Booker as out against the Nuggets with a right ankle sprain. Booker's injury is actually a bit of a concerning one for the Suns, as he's expected to miss 7-10 days with it. The next 10 days for the Phoenix Suns include games against the: Denver Nuggets, Toronto Raptors, Boston Celtics, Cleveland Cavaliers, Boston Celtics, and Charlotte Hornets

Against the Denver Nuggets, Devin Booker is averaging 21.4 points, 4.8 assists, and 2.7 rebounds in 24 career games. This season, the Nuggets and Suns have only faced off one time, with the Nuggets taking the game 119-111.

It remains to be seen where these two teams will be matched up during the NBA Playoffs, but the Phoenix Suns definitely aren't a first-round opponent that any team should want. They arguably pushed the Nuggets harder than anyone during last year's NBA Playoffs, and the Suns are even better now than last year.

A win tonight for the Denver Nuggets would have them tied for the best record in the Western Conference. It's only fitting that it has to come at the expense of their playoff rival from last year.

The Denver Nuggets and Phoenix Suns face off at 10:00 p.m. EST tonight.
