Injury Report: Denver Nuggets vs Charlotte Hornets

There is one important name on the list.

The Denver Nuggets are on the second night of a back-to-back where they take on a shorthanded Charlotte Hornets team.

The Nuggets only have two players listed on their injury report: Aaron Gordon and Vlatko Cancar. Aaron Gordon is probable with a right heel strain, and Vlatko Cancar is out with left knee surgery. The injury report for Denver is much shorter than usual, which is a great sign for this team to not see Jamal Murray listed like he usually is.

The Charlotte Hornets have five players listed on their injury report: LaMelo Ball, Amari Bailey, Cody Martin, Frank Ntilikina, and Mark Williams. LaMelo Ball is out with a right ankle sprain, Amari Bailey is out with a G League two-way, Cody Martin is questionable with left knee injury recovery, Frank Ntilikina is out with a left tibia non-displaced fracture, and Mark Williams is doubtful with a lower back contusion.

The Nuggets are fresh off of a nail-biting win against the Brooklyn Nets, where Jamal Murray pulled off a miraculous 21-point third quarter. It remains to be seen how tired Denver is entering their matchup against the Hornets, but they still have a much superior team. Some could call it a trap game, but that's the type of game an NBA Champion takes advantage of.

The Denver Nuggets face off against the Charlotte Hornets at 7:00 p.m. EST tonight.
