Kevin Durant Makes NBA History vs. Denver Nuggets

Phoenix Suns star Kevin Durant made history

Entering Friday night's game vs. the Denver Nuggets, Phoenix Suns star Kevin Durant needed 17 points to pass Moses Malone for 10th place on the NBA's all-time scoring list. Reaching that mark in this one, Durant overtook Malone for sole possession of 10th in all-time on this historic list.

At the point in his career where history is being made on a regular basis, this has to be one of the more impressive accomplishments for Durant. Scoring the 10th most points in NBA history, Durant continues to cement himself as one of the very best scorers the game has ever seen. While Durant being one of the best scorers in league history is a well known fact at this point, cracking the top-10 is a very notable feat.

Having played a lot of games without his two co-stars this season, Durant has been heavily relied upon by the Suns. Both Devin Booker and Bradley Beal have dealt with injury issues to start the season, which has left Durant to lead this Suns team on several different occasions. More than capable of doing this, Durant has helped lead the Suns to several wins.

Many expect this Phoenix team to be one of the last teams standing this postseason, especially if they are able to get healthy. With a talent like Durant, the sky is the limit for the Suns.
