Lakers Champion Gets Honest About Playing in Denver

Playing against the Denver Nuggets isn't easy.

If there's one thing that everyone in the NBA can agree on, it's that playing in the city of Denver isn't easy. It's already hard enough that the defending NBA Champions are the Denver Nuggets, but playing in that altitude is no joke - Kyle Kuzma can tell you himself.

Kyle Kuzma was doing a Q&A session on Twitter, when one fan asked him if playing in the Denver altitude was as impactful as everyone says it is. Kuzma's response was both very candid, and very hilarious.

"Just going into the game you’re not even thinking about the nuggets you thinking about the damn air 🤣🤣🤣"

Many players in the NBA will say that playing a game against the Denver Nuggets or Utah Jazz will be the most difficult road atmosphere. Not just because of the rowdy fans, but because of the altitude. There are no teams with a better natural home-court advantage than the Denver Nuggets or the Utah Jazz.

When analyzing the all-time home record for the Denver Nuggets, it's actually very good. In 1,903 games played, the Denver Nuggets have a 1244-659 record all-time, good for 65.4%. On the other side, the Utah Jazz have a 1357-627 all-time home record, good for 68.4%. The Nuggets just won an NBA Championship last season for the first time in franchise history, and haven't been a dominating team throughout that span.
