INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – In Indiana, basketball is king, and that's true at every level. No one questions the grip the game has on all of us, and it's no different at the professional level, either.

There is a large and passionate fan base that lives and dies with everything the Indiana Pacers do here in central Indiana, and I already know many of you through your reading of my Indiana and Purdue sites here on FanNation, our Sports Illustrated team platforms.

And now it's time to grow! Today we launch AllPacers.com, and we'll be here EVERY DAY to keep you totally updated on everything Pacers. We've got a great team in place for starters, and there will be a couple more hires coming soon.

And best of all, Pacers fans? It's all FREE!

There is no paywall, no subscriptions, no blocked or premium content from our reporters, columnists, photographers and video hosts. You get it all, and it doesn't cost you a penny.

For starters, there are two of us who will provide plenty of news and opinions and game breakdowns for you. The goal is to add two more people by March. For now, let me say hello.

My name is Tom Brew, and I've been a sportswriter and editor for more than 40 years at some of America's finest newspapers, including the Tampa Bay (Fla.) Times, the South Florida Sun Sentinel in Fort Lauderdale and the Indianapolis Star.

For the past five years, I've edited and managed national sports websites, including SEC Country among others, and for the past two years, I have written and published content for HoosiersNow.com and BoilermakersCountry.com for Sports Illustrated. Those sites have done so well that now we add a third – AllPacers.com. I also own a book publishing company called Hilltop30 Publishing Group, and I've written four books myself and edited and published 18 others, many on basketball.

I will be your AllPacers.com publisher, editor and columnist, and you'll see content from me every day. I'll be out and about with the team once COVID-19 restrictions ease, and we'll give you plenty of Pacers content every day, plus other NBA news as it relates to the Pacers, and we will always share our national content on SI.com with you as well.

My first hire as a beat reporter is Grant Afseth, a young and talented writer who's been covering the Pacers and the NBA for four years now. He will be writing daily stories and doing video breakdowns. You'll enjoy his work. And, as I said, there will be more to come not too far down the line.

Because it's all free, all you need to do is hit the follow button on the top right and register. No financial information is needed, just a name and valid email address so we can keep the bots out.

We're big social media fans too, so also follow us on Facebook and Twitter, where we post all of our Pacers content the second it is published.
