Indiana Pacers vs Houston Rockets preview: Start time, where to watch, injury report, betting odds
The Indiana Pacers play their second preseason game of the 2023-24 campaign on Tuesday night. They'll battle the Houston Rockets for their final road game of the preseason.
The blue and gold will try to show progress from their loss to Memphis on Sunday. Their defense looked weak in that outing, though they showed positive signs on the offensive end.
"The positives are that we rebounded with them pretty effectively," head coach Rick Carlisle said postgame on Sunday, per the Pacers. "Negatives, we turned it over too much... there's things to build on here."

Pacers vs Rockets Injury Report
Official injury reports are not released for preseason games. Andrew Nembhard won't play for Indiana, and both Tyrese Haliburton and Daniel Theis sat out of the team's first preseason game. The Rockets are fully healthy.
Key Matchup
Bennedict Mathurin vs Jalen Green: Mathurin had a solid first outing for the Pacers, scoring 18 points on Sunday while also making some nice passes. He looked effective and was still his usual self as a scorer.
Green will be a test for him. Houston's young guard is set up well for a breakout season, and he will be a tough defensive test for anyone on Indiana's roster. Mathurin matching him will be difficult.
