Indiana Pacers vs Washington Wizards preview: Start time, where to watch, injury report, betting odds December 15

The Pacers and Wizards have their second meeting of the season tonight

The Indiana Pacers travel to the nation's capital tonight to take on the Washington Wizards. The game is a great opportunity for the Pacers to get back on track after stumbling against the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday.

The Pacers beat the Wizards 143-120 on opening night. For the season, Indiana is 13-9 while Washington sits at 3-20. They have won just twice since the start of November and have the league's worst defense.

Pacers vs Wizards Injury Report

For the Pacers, center Jalen Smith is out with a left knee bone bruise and left heel contusion and Andrew Nembhard is out with a right knee bone bruise. Kendall Brown, Isaiah Wong, and Oscar Tshiebwe are listed as questionable as a part of their two-way contract status.

For the Wizards, Jules Bernard, Johnny Davis, Ryan Rollins, Landry Shamet, and Delon Wright are out. Eugene Omoruyi and Jordan Poole are questionable.

Key Matchup

Bruce Brown vs Deni Avdija: The Wizards crummy defense concedes a ton of drives, and their offense isn't particularly deep in terms of ball handlers. Their strengths and weaknesses are ideal for a bounceback game from Brown.

He could line up across from Avdija, a young wing with skill on both ends. Brown had 24 points against Washington on opening night and defended the Wizards ball handlers well throughout the night. If he does that again today, the Pacers will have an opportunity to win.
