CJ McCollum Favors Nuggets After Pivotal Game-3 Victory
New Orleans Pelicans star guard CJ McCollum was on ESPN's Get Up as a guest analyst. The panel discussed Game 3 of the 2023 NBA Finals following the historic triple-double performances by Denver's Nikola Jovic and Jamal Murray. The duo recorded the first 30-point triple double in NBA Finals and league history, and led the Nuggets to a 109-94 victory over the Miami Heat.
The veteran guard firmly believes in the Nuggets' chances of winning the title. "You need your stars to deliver," McCollum said. "That night looked like the Denver Nuggets' stars were better, more prepared, more aggressive, more efficient. If they play like this for the rest of the series, there's no chance the Miami Heat will win the series."
Denver has a 2-1 lead in the NBA Finals.
