Pelicans Unveil A New Uniform For 2023-24 Season
New Orleans, LA - The New Orleans Pelicans will don new uniforms for the 2023-2024 NBA season. In a statement released by the team on Tuesday, "The Pelicans 2023-24 Statement Edition uniform honors the Crescent City, and this vibrant uniform is a tribute to the unique place in the Riverbend that we call home."
Pelicans' Senior Vice President, Chef Operating Officer Ben Hales said, “The Pelicans re-designed Statement Edition uniforms bring a vintage feel that represents our young franchise and gives a unique take on the red uniform that continues to complement our navy and white uniforms." He continued, “The Pelicans’ new 2023-24 Statement Edition uniform honors our home, the Crescent City.”

The red, white, and blue design is a welcome change from the usual Mardi-Grad-themed jersey pattern for alternates. It's the team's first re-design of the red jerseys since the 2014-2015 season. Jersey sales for the new uniforms will begin on Aug. 1., both online and at the team store, located in the Smoothie King Center.
There will be additional merchandise with the new design. These include hoodies, shirts, hats, koozies and more. The team store will also make these items available on Aug. 1. Official pictures of the uniforms can be found here.
