Former Pelicans Assistant Honored By Louisiana Tech
Former Pelicans assistant coach was among the six sports legends honored by Louisiana Tech.
It was a "Who's Who" of Louisiana college sports greatness honored by LA Tech in Ruston. Jimmy Watson reported on Wednesday night's festivities. The university unveiled bronze statues of the "Super Six." The honorees included former Pelicans assistant Teresa Weatherspoon, Professional Football Hall of Famer and Saints legend Willie Roaf, LSU head coach Kim Mulkey, 4x Super Bowl champion Terry Bradshaw, NBA great Karl Malone, and Pro Football Hall of Famer Fred Dean.
The statues will reside outside Joe Aillet Stadium in the north end zone area.
