BREAKING: Zion Williamson, Dyson Daniels, Anfernee Simons Status For Pelicans-Trail Blazers, 2/10
UPDATE: Zion Williamson is "OUT" of tonight's game versus the Portland Trail Blazers, per Pelicans Coach Willie Green.
New Orleans had numerous of mental and defensive breakdowns during Friday night's 139-122 loss to Los Angeles Lakers. Tonight will be a back-to-back road game with several Pelicans on the mend and without one of their better defenders.
Guard Dyson Daniels is out of the contest with a soreness in his left knee. Zion Williamson, Trey Murphy III, and Naji Marshall will be questionable for tonight at Moda Center. Versus the Lakers, Williamson led New Orleans with 30 points, 9 rebounds, and five assists. Trey Murphy had just five points and a rebound while Marshall sat out the contest in L.A.
Portland will be without shooting guards Shaedon Sharpe and Anfernee Simons. Simons had a 29-point outing along with five assists and a pair of rebounds against Detroit.
New Orleans should keep an eye on Trail Blazers center Jabari Walker who scored a career-high 49 points with eight rebounds and six assists in 45 minutes against the Pistons on Feb. 8.
