BREAKING: Zion Williamson, Jose Alvarado, Naji Marshall Injury Status For Pelicans-Suns Game, 4/7

The current injury status of the New Orleans Pelicans stars ahead of today's tilt with the Phoenix Suns.

The New Orleans Pelicans (45-32, 7th Western Conference) start their final four-game regular season road trip against the Phoenix Suns (46-31, 6th Western Conference) during the NCAA Final Four weekend in the city. Willie Green and his team cannot afford to lose more ground in the Western Conference playoff-seeding race. A win over the Suns could get them tied with the Suns as they battle for the 6th seed.

Zion Williamson practiced on Saturday but is a gametime decision for the second-straight contest.

Losing to San Antonio on Friday night put a dent in their plans to allow dropping one game on the road. The Pelicans must focus on winning all remaining games to stay ahead of the Suns, Lakers, and Kings. 

New Orleans faces the possibility of participating in the NBA Play-In Tournament for the third consecutive season if they continue to drop in the standings. 

This morning, the Pelicans list Zion Williamson (left finger), Naji Marshall (left shoulder), and Jose Alvarado (right oblique) as QUESTIONABLE for the tilt with Phoenix. Although Brandon Ingram's workouts are encouraging for the team, he's still a few games away from returning to the lineup.

Phoenix has only one player on its injury report. Damion Lee is OUT for the regular season after surgery on his right meniscus. Frank Vogel told Gerald Bourguet of GoPHNX.com that he hopes to have Lee "return at some point in the playoffs."

The Spurs projected starters are: 

• Kevin Durant, Grayson Allen, Jusuf Nurkic, Bradley Beal, and Devin Booker
