Lakers & Raptors Reveal Status For Key Starters

The Toronto Raptors will have Immanuel Quickley and RJ Barrett back while the Los Angeles Lakers believe LeBron James and Anthony Davis will play Tuesday

LeBron James and Anthony Davis are expected to play Tuesday night against the Toronto Raptors.

Nothing has been made official yet but Los Angeles Lakers coach Darvin Ham said he's "very optimistic" they'll be cleared following pre-game activities. Both players had been listed as questionable.

It'll be Davis' first game in Toronto since he joined the Lakers following the 2018-19 season.

Toronto will have both RJ Barrett and Immanuel Quickley back following extended personal absences. They've been upgraded from probable to available, Raptors coach Darko Rajaković said.

Both players will be on minutes restrictions as they try to get their conditioning back.

Gary Trent Jr. will be given the night off for "rest." He bumped his knee on Monday night in the loss to the Philadelphia 76ers, but Rajaković says the night off is more to keep Trent fresh with a back-to-back coming Wednesday night.

Toronto remains without Scottie Barnes, Jakob Poeltl, Chris Boucher, Ochai Agbaji, DJ Carton, and Jontay Porter.

Jalen Hood-Schifino, Cam Reddish, Jarred Vanderbilt, Gabe Vincent, and Christian Wood will all be sidelined for Los Angeles.

The Lakers are -12.5 point favorites with an implied win probability of 90%. The total for the game is 235.5.
