Raptors Now Among Favorites to Land Damian Lillard in Blockbuster Trade With Trail Blazers

The Toronto Raptors are now among the most likely landing spots for Portland Trail Blazers superstar Damian Lillard

The odds of Damian Lillard landing in Toronto keep getting shorter and shorter.

The Toronto Raptors are now considered the most likely landing spot for the Portland Trail Blazers superstar to be traded outside of Miami, sportsbooks say. There’s about a 20% probability the 33-year-old lands with the Raptors ahead of this season, according to DraftKings.

Only Miami and Portland are considered more likely to be Lillard’s team when the season tips off next month. The Heat have been given a roughly 71% chance to make a deal while there’s a 25% probability that he’s not traded before the season starts.

The Los Angeles Clippers, Philadelphia 76ers, Boston Celtics, and Brooklyn Nets are considered the next most likely teams, respectively, although far more of a longshot to make a deal than Toronto.

It is believed Toronto’s package would be centered around O.G. Anunoby along with some combination of Gary Trent Jr., Chris Boucher, Thad Young, and Otto Porter Jr. Rookie Gradey Dick is also tradeable and could be of interest to Portland.

The Raptors also have two first round picks the team can trade outright in 2028 and 2030 along with pick swaps in 2027 and 2029 if could offer Portland.

Scottie Barnes and Pascal Siakam are not believed to be part of any trade offers the Raptors have made to Portland.
