The field remains wide open as the Toronto Raptors continue to search for their next head coach.

Adrian Griffin remains the frontrunner for now, oddsmakers say. He’s listed at +290, implying about a 25% chance he’s tabbed to be Toronto’s next frontman. Griffin joined the Raptors organization as an assistant coach back in 2018 and is expected to be back with Toronto next season in some capacity despite widespread changes to the coaching staff.

If not Griffin, Las Vegas Aces head coach Becky Hammon is listed as the second most-likely candidate at +500, implying about a 17% probability. The former San Antonio Spurs assistant coach has been interviewed for head coaching positions in the past. She will become the first woman to coach an NBA team if she earns the position.

Vanderbilts’ Jerry Stackhouse and Kenny Atkinson of the Golden State Warriors have been given about a 15.5% chance to earn the job. Stackhouse has previously worked for the Raptors as the head coach of the Raptors 905 as well as an assistant coach for Toronto. Atkinson, meanwhile, turned down the Charlotte Hornets head coaching job last summer.

Sam Cassell, Jordi Fernandez, Frank Vogel, Mitch Johnson, Charles Lee, Darko Rajakovic, Kevin Young, Chris Quinn, Mike D’Antoni, Mark Jackson, and Stan Van Gundy are all longshots between +1,000 and +4,500, implying a less than 10% chance.
