It appears a bidding war is about to break out for O.G. Anunoby.

The Toronto Raptors forward is reportedly expected to be traded, Chris Haynes said on his podcast This League Uncut. The Phoenix Suns and New York Knicks have both repeatedly been mentioned as potential landing spots and, according to Haynes, the New Orleans Pelicans are "definitely high" on the 3-and-D wing.

It's unclear what the Pelicans would offer for Anunoby, but a bidding war between the Pelicans and Memphis Grizzlies could significantly raise the price for Toronto. Both Western Conference teams are determined to keep Anunoby away from the other, Haynes said, and have the draft pick equity and young players to swing a deal.

The complicating factor in all of this is Anunoby's health status. He has been ruled out for the remainder of Toronto's West Coast road trip with a left wrist sprain. It's not believed to be too serious, per Shams Charania, but it's unclear exactly when Anunoby will be back.

Anunoby would also welcome a change of scenery, Haynes added. It's the latest report suggesting Anunoby would like a bigger role in Toronto and is unhappy with his position within the organization.

The Raptors are expected to return from their West Coast road trip this weekend before finalizing their decisions ahead of the Feb. 9 trade deadline.
