HOUSTON — The NBA draft season will get underway Tuesday evening with the 2023 Draft Lottery. But following the event, the league will hold a three-day combined in Chicago from May 16 to 18.

The NBA revealed the official invite list for the combine, and nearly every potential prospect will participate in the multi-day showcase. Projected No. 1 pick Victor Wembanyama will not take part in the combine due to the French League season still ongoing.

The NBA combine will feature Scoot Henderson and Brandon Miller — the second and third-rated prospects entering the 2023 NBA Draft, which will take place on June 22.

The Houston Rockets will enter the draft lottery with a 14.0 percent chance to land the No. 1 overall pick — a three-way tie alongside the Detroit Pistons and San Antonio Spurs.

The Rockets will have two first-round picks in this year's draft. Due to the trade that sent Eric Gordon to the Los Angeles Clippers in February, Houston has obtained the No. 20th pick.

General manager Rafael Stone said the Rockets are open to trading their draft picks in hopes of keeping the franchise's options open when enhancing its subpar roster.

The 2023 NBA Draft will mark the third consecutive year the Rockets drafted in the lottery. In 2021 the Rockets landed Jalen Green with the No. 2 selection. The following year, Houston drafted Jabari Smith Jr. with the No. 3 overall pick.
