Alperen Sengun Career Night, Amen Thompson Clutch Block Seal Overtime Win For Rockets vs. Jazz
The Houston Rockets snapped their three-game losing streak against the Utah Jazz in a frantic game that ended up going to overtime. This win was the first overtime win for the Rockets this season, and the team was able to pull it out with a tight score of 127-126.

The Rockets got off to a hot start in the first half, as they finished the second quarter with a 64-51 heading into the break. But by the end of the third quarter, that lead was gone, as the game was tied 89-89 heading into the fourth.
But when the dust settled at the end of a wild fourth quarter, the teams were still tied. Overtime was back and forth, but the Rockets were able to grab the momentum after a clutch block from Amen Thompson on Collin Sexton with 30 seconds left.
However, the player of the game for the Rockets was Alperen Sengun, as he tied his career-high with 37 points, and also contributed 14 rebounds and seven assists. These kinds of games are becoming a habit for the big man, and he is becoming hard to ignore in the All-Star conversation
Sengun and the Rockets will be looking to take the momentum from this win into their next game on Sunday against the team with the best record in the NBA, the Boston Celtics. Tipoff is set for 6 p.m. CT in Toyota Center.
