Houston Rockets vs. Oklahoma City Thunder Preview: How to Watch, Injury Reports, Lineups, More

The Houston Rockets will be looking to start a win streak in their next game against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The Houston Rockets (25-31) will play the second game of a short two-game home stand on Sunday against the Oklahoma City Thunder (39-17) in Toyota Center. The Rockets will be looking to build off of the big win in their last game.

The team beat the Phoenix Suns 114-110 on Friday, and they will be looking to keep it going after beating a team with players of that caliber. The Rockets' leading scorer in the game was Fred VanVleet with 23, but the team also had other key performances, both in the starters and off the bench.

Jabari Smith Jr. overcame a rough shooting start and finished with 22 points as well as 16 rebounds. Rookie Amen Thompson had yet another great game off the bench for the Rockets, tallying 15 points, 10 rebounds, and two blocks.

The Rockets will need performances like this in their next game if they want to get the best of the Thunder, who are behind the one-seeded Minnesota Timberwolves by just a half a game. Similar to the Suns, the Rockets will need to limit what the opposing team's stars can do and keep Shai Gilgeous-Alexander at bay if they want to win this game.
