The Rocket's last game ended with a 134-124 loss to the defending champion Denver Nuggets. The driving forces behind the win for the Nuggets were the 30-point games that both Nikola Jokić and Michael Porter Jr. had.
Despite the loss, Alperen Şengün and Jalen Green gave the Rockets great performances, which the team will need to record their second win of the season against the Lakers.
During their last contest on Nov. 19, the Lakers came away with a 105-104 victory over the Rockets. LeBron James led the way with 37 points, eight assists and six rebounds. The Rockets were led by Dillon Brooks, who finished with 24 points. Şengün added 23 points, 10 rebounds and five assists.
