Houston Rockets vs. Memphis Grizzlies Preview: How to Watch, Lineups, Injury Reports, More

Dillon Brooks will get his first look at his old team whenever the Houston Rockets take on the Memphis Grizzlies Wednesday night.

The Houston Rockets (6-6) will play the first game of a brief two game home stand on Wednesday night against the Memphis Grizzlies (3-10) inside the Toyota Center. The Rockets will be looking to avoid their fourth straight loss.

Houston lost its last game to Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors with a score 121-116. The loss came as a result of some spectacular play from Curry which has just become routine at this point in his career. Despite the loss, Alperen Sengun had a fantastic game, scoring 30 points and hauling in 13 boards.

The big man will need to continue that great play against the Grizzlies on Wednesday, as he will be guarded by defending NBA Player of the Year Jaren Jackson Jr. Despite their rough start to the season, the Grizzlies should not be underestimated, as they still have star players that can hurt you in more ways than one, like Jackson or Desmond Bane.

But perhaps the most intriguing storyline for the game is the fact that this is Dillon Brooks' first game against his former team, and the two parties did not exactly leave off on good terms. Brooks will look to lead the Rockets to a win, as well as prove that the Grizzlies made a mistake letting him go.

Rockets forward Dillon Brooks (9) rebounds against the Sacramento Kings during the third quarter at Toyota Center.
