Houston Rockets vs. Memphis Grizzlies Preview: How to Watch, Injury Reports, Lineups, More
The Houston Rockets (12-9) will complete their home-and-home series against the Memphis Grizzlies (6-17) on Friday night in FedEx Forum. The Rockets will be looking to extend their winning streak to five.
In the first matchup between the two teams on Wednesday, the Rockets were able to get the win 117-104 as a result of a strong fourth quarter where they outscored the Grizzlies by 12 points.
As for individual performances, Tari Eason impressed in his second straight game, as he once again led the Rockets in both rebounds and points with 25 and 15, respectively. The Rockets will need another strong performance from Eason in hopes of the team getting their second road victory.
Despite Desmond Bane being out for the first game with an illness, the Grizzlies were able to stay in the game as a result of a career-high 44 points from Jaren Jackson Jr. Now, with Bane possibly being back in the lineup for Memphis, the Rockets cannot get too comfortable, as this is still a Grizzlies team who can compete, despite their slow start to the season.
