Houston Rockets vs. Minnesota Timberwolves Preview: How to Watch, Injury Reports, Lineups, More

The Houston Rockets will be looking to extend their winning streak in their next game against the top-seeded Minnesota Timberwolves.

The Houston Rockets (17-15) will play their sixth of a seven-game home stand against the Minnesota Timberwolves (24-9) inside the Toyota Center. The Rockets will be looking to extend their winning streak to three games.

In the team's last game, they got the win over the Brooklyn Nets with a score of 112-101. The Rockets' offense came from the usual suspects, those being Alperen Şengün and Fred VanVleet.

The big man finished with a game-high 30 points and was also able to haul in eight rebounds. As for VanVleet, he finished with 21 points and 10 assists, which means added yet another double-double to his already impressive season.

The Rockets will need performances like that in their next game, as they will be up against the team with the best record in the Western Conference, and the second-best record in the entire NBA. The Timberwolves have had a tremendous season so far, mostly as a result of some spectacular play from Anthony Edwards. So, the key to beating a team of this caliber will be attempting to shut him down.
