Houston Rockets vs. New Orleans Pelicans Preview: How to Watch, Injury Reports, Lineups, More

The Houston Rockets will be looking to build off of their last win in their next game against the New Orleans Pelicans on the road.

The Houston Rockets (14-12) will play the second half of their back-to-back Saturday night against the New Orleans Pelicans (17-12) inside the Smoothie King Center. The Rockets are coming off a 122-96 victory over the short-handed Dallas Mavericks.

Houston was able to get the win comfortably against the Mavericks, who was reeling without Luka Dončić.

All five of the Rockets' starting five scored in double-digits, with the leading scorer being Alperen Şengün. He finished with 22 points, and was also a beast on the boards, tallying up 15 rebounds as well. These kinds of games where Şengün stuffs the stat sheet are becoming a common occurrence for the big man, and the team will be glad to keep that trend going.

The Rockets will be in for a tough game against a Pelicans team who is playing together very well as of late. They are in the top 10 in the NBA in field goal percentage, and they have won seven of their last ten games. As a team that has struggled on the road so far this season, this game could prove to be a challenge.
