Hollywood Star Jonathan Majors to Play Spurs Ex Dennis Rodman in Movie?

Jonathan Majors continues to become one of the rising stars in Hollywood. Could he now add to his portfolio with a role of playing former San Antonio Spurs forward Dennis Rodman?

Hollywood star Jonathan Majors is on fire.

Between his supervillain role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and his recent outing as the rival to Michael B. Jordan's character in the "Creed" franchise, it's easy to imagine movie scripts flying in like Dennis Rodman for a rebound. Regarding Rodman, Majors will star as the former San Antonio Spurs forward in the upcoming film "48 Hours in Vegas."

Based on the infamous incident in 1998 during the Chicago Bulls season, Majors could appear as Rodman during the impromptu visit to Las Vegas amidst the Bulls' last championship campaign. It was recently discussed in the 2020 Netflix docuseries "The Last Dance," which covered Michael Jordan's career with the Bulls.

"I never really put a ceiling on myself, but this is definitely a role where I'm definitely going to make sure I'm pushing that ceiling out because he (Rodman) demands that," Majors said. "He's such a full individual."

Before joining the Bulls dynasty for the 1995-96 season, Rodman spent two campaigns with the Spurs, averaging 17.1 rebounds during his tenure. He led the league in rebounds in both seasons with the Spurs and was a key part of the team's Western Conference Finals run in 1995 in the frontcourt next to David Robinson.
