San Antonio Spurs forward Victor Wembanyama is receiving hype to the extent of him being labeled the best prospect since LeBron James.

When a team receives a player with this level of potential and promise, it does everything in its power to get the most out of that potential.

The Spurs are now entering an era where their roster-building technique will have to solely focus on the idea of maximizing Wembanyama's potential and development. If the Spurs are looking to replicate their former dynasty, their next potential star talents and even role players must complement Wembanyama's game in some fashion.

"Everything now revolves around Wembanyama and maximizing his enormous talents, and that means slow-playing it this year and simply evaluating everyone on the roster through the lens of what they can do alongside Victor," UPROXX writes.

Moving forward, the Spurs and Wembanyama are synonymous. He's the focal point of the rebuild and the team will put him in a position to use his unicorn talents to make his way to the top of the league.

The way the Spurs roster currently stands, the team is well suited around Wembanyama. Their young starting lineups provides good floor spacing and scoring alongside solid playmaking that will take pressure off Wembanyama.

As the team's current iteration learns to play around Wembanyama, such as seen with the Dallas Mavericks and Luka Doncic and Denver Nuggets and Nikola Jokic, players that can thrive playing off a star will look quite solid.

All-in-all, the Spurs rebuild is jus now beginning. They've got their guy. They've got young talent around him. The next step is to let the team establish itself and continue to compile talent around Wembanyama as he establishes himself as well.

There will be growing pains, as there is in any rebuild or while developing young talents that are expected of so much. In the end, the growing pains will be prove to be worth it if the team can climb back to contender status in the near future.
