No Kevin Durant, Bradley Beal or Devin Booker for Suns Tonight

The Phoenix Suns announced none of their stars will be active tonight against the Denver Nuggets.

Phoenix Suns stars Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, and Bradley Beal are all OUT for tonight's home preseason opener against the Denver Nuggets.

This is a somewhat surprising development, as it was assumed the trio would get run similar to the game in Detroit on Sunday, but the stars are apparently getting the night off before matchups against Deandre Ayton and the Portland Trail Blazers.

This move is almost certainly just a matter of giving all three some rest while also getting a more extended look at players such as Keita Bates-Diop, Chemeize Metu, Yuta Watanabe and Grayson Allen.

As mentioned previously, the Suns have a limited amount of time to figure out what the rotations are going to be for the regular season opener against the Golden State Warriors

The trio were spotted getting up shots at shootaround today:

On one side, giving role players more run in positional battles for minutes/roles is prudent, but we also need to see how they fit next to the stars.

The next opportunity for the three stars to suit up is Thursday in Portland. Tonight will mark preseason game two of five for the team.
