Suns Announce Starters vs Bucks

Phoenix Suns coach Frank Vogel went with the usual five-man combo against the Milwaukee Bucks.

PHOENIX -- The Phoenix Suns are just a short time away from tipping off.

Phoenix is looking to reach the 30-win milestone on the season tonight - and will seemingly have a prime opportunity to do so.

Milwaukee Bucks starters Damian Lillard and Brook Lopez were both ruled out this evening due to injuries.

On the flip side, Phoenix was completely healthy save for Damion Lee.

Suns head coach Frank Vogel decided to go with the customary starting unit ever since the big three got reunited in late 2023:

Devin Booker
Bradley Beal
Grayson Allen
Kevin Durant
Jusuf Nurkic

This game will still be a challenge for the Suns despite the pair of Bucks' starters being ruled out - Giannis Antetokounmpo remains one of the best players in the world and is still surrounded by ample shooting talent.

Meanwhile for the Suns, this is the 20th game of the big three together - Phoenix has gone 12-7 in the 19 games prior to tonight.

The star trio itself has only gone 12-7, but the metrics love this iteration of the Suns.

Phoenix's big three beats the 2020-21 Brooklyn Nets' trio of Durant-Kyrie Irving-James Harden in offensive rating, net rating, among other categories.

Suns SF Grayson Allen could be instrumental to victory tonight - as the former Bucks starter is shooting 49% from three-point range on the season.

The Suns and Bucks are set to tip just past 8:00 PM Arizona time. The game is set to be broadcast on TNT as well as locally on AZ Family.
