Frank Kaminsky Posts Goodbye Message to Suns Fans

The former Suns big man agreed to leave Phoenix and sign with the Atlanta Hawks.

Former Phoenix Suns center Frank Kaminsky was officially announced as the newest member of the Atlanta Hawks, putting an official end to his time in the Valley. He became the second Suns player behind guard Aaron Holiday to land in Atlanta this offseason.

Kaminsky took the Instagram to part with Phoenix fans who embraced him every step of the way.

Kaminsky initially entered the league as a top ten pick in the 2015 NBA Draft, playing four years with the Charlotte Hornets before signing a two-year, $10 million deal with the Suns in 2019.

Kaminsky played a total of 95 games for Phoenix after leaving and eventually rejoining the squad, averaging 8.2 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.8 assists per contest.

After suffering a stress reaction in his right knee last season, Kaminsky was ruled out indefinitely and never returned to the team.

In his place, the Suns have re-signed Bismack Biyombo and brought in big men such as Jock Landale.
