Charles Barkley Wants Kevin Durant to Win it All With Phoenix Suns

Phoenix Suns legend Charles Barkley is happy that the Suns were able to add Durant and hopes he can help Phoenix win a championship. However, Barkley thinks he's a baby a lot of the time.

Before the end of the trade deadline, the Phoenix Suns were able to land future Hall of Fame forward Kevin Durant. The arrival of the former back-to-back finals MVP brings championship expectations for the Suns.

Hall of Famer and former Phoenix Suns forward Charles Barkley also wants to see something. In a recent Interview with Bally Sports' Brandon 'Scoop B' Robinson during All-Star Weekend, Barkley shared that he is a great player. However, with their history, Barkley took the time to throw shade in Durant's direction.

"We are glad to have him in Phoenix, and I hope he can bring a championship to Phoenix. It will be great; I mean, I live there," said Barkley.

"It would be great if they win the championship. He’s a little baby a lot of times, but he’s a great player, and I hope they get it done in Phoenix."

Durant continues to struggle with an MCL strain that he suffered in January, and it is causing him to be out of the NBA All-Star Game for a second straight year with a knee injury. The 14-time All-Star is not a captain of the event this time, and a replacement has already been named.

He could potentially make his Suns debut on Friday against the Oklahoma City Thunder, a game that was pushed back to 8:00 pm MST and is set to air nationally on ESPN.
