Cavaliers Rule Donovan Mitchell, Five More Out vs Suns

Mitchell is dealing with a knee injury.

PHOENIX -- The Cleveland Cavaliers have released their injury report for today's meeting against the Phoenix Suns:

OUT - Ty Jerome (right ankle surgery), Donovan Mitchell (left knee bone bruise), Evan Mobley (left ankle sprain), Max Strus (right knee strain), Tristan Thompson (league suspension) and Dean Wade (personal reasons).

Cleveland did not have any players listed as questionable or probable vs. Phoenix. 

This will be Mitchell's seventh straight game missed due to the knee injury.

"The star guard has returned to on-court activities recently, and the team is hopeful he'll suit up this week, but it's unclear exactly how close he is to playing again. Following Monday's home matchup, the Cavaliers head out on a three-game road trip which starts Wednesday in New Orleans and ends next Monday in Indiana, with a stop in Houston on Saturday."

Cleveland is currently the No. 3 seed in the East with a 41-23 record, though they're 5-5 in their last ten games.

Phoenix is 37-27 with the No. 6 seed in the West. They're also 5-5 in their last ten.

The Suns' injury report for today is as follows:

PROBABLE - Devin Booker (right ankle sprain)

OUT - Eric Gordon (knee contusion), Damion Lee (meniscus), Nassir Little (knee inflammation) and Josh Okogie (ab strain)

Opening tip is slated for 4:30 PM Arizona time.
