Former Suns Help Team USA in Massive 30-Point Blowout

Former Phoenix Suns Cameron Johnson and Mikal Bridges played a role in helping Team USA prepare for the upcoming FIBA World Cup.

Team USA continues their prep for the upcoming FIBA World Cup, and they passed their most recent test with flying colors. 

The United States blew by Slovenia in 92-62 fashion. Luka Doncic (knee) didn't play after being injured in the previous warm-up and was held out due as a precaution. 

Former Phoenix Suns Mikal Bridges and Cam Johnson combined for 17 points in the win. 

Bridges added nine himself with two rebounds and two assists while Johnson tallied eight points, four rebounds and one assist. 

The United States will play three more tune-up games before World Cup group play begins:

Aug. 13 vs Spain 

Aug. 18 vs Greece 

Aug. 20 vs Germany
