Kevin Durant on Draymond Green: 'That Was Insane'

Suns forward Kevin Durant says Draymond Green needs help.

PHOENIX -- The actions of Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green just a few nights ago against Phoenix Suns center Jusuf Nurkic continues to see ripple effects across the NBA.

Green has been suspended indefinitely for his actions, the sixth time the NBA has levied a suspension against the four-time NBA champion.

Former teammate and current Suns forward Kevin Durant was asked about Green's actions/suspension:

"Yeah, that was insane to see. Glad Nurk is alright. Never seen that before on a basketball court [or] NBA game. I hope Draymond gets to help he needs," Durant said.

"It's been incident after incident. I know Draymond, and that's not - he hasn't been that way when I was around him coming into the league. So hopefully he gets the help he needs and get back on the court and put all this stuff behind him."

Durant spent 2016-19 with Golden State and won two NBA championships with the squad. His time with the Warriors came to an end shortly after Green and Durant's relationship soured, with many believing the argument below was the beginning of the end:

The two have seemingly reconciled since, and even did a joint interview together a few years back that discussed their time together in Golden State.

It's unknown when Green will return to action after his suspension, though Suns-Warriors will face each other next on Feb. 10.
