Suns Big 3 Expected to Make Debut vs Nets

The Phoenix Suns will see their star trio out on the court for the first time all season.

PHOENIX -- It's happening.

Today, NBA insider Shams Charania revealed the Phoenix Suns are expecting their star trio of Devin Booker, Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal healthy and available for the first time all season when they host the Brooklyn Nets later tonight.

Charania on Twitter/X:

"Big 3 debut: Devin Booker, Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal are expected to be available to play for the Phoenix Suns tonight vs. the Brooklyn Nets, according to sources. Durant has been upgraded to probable after missing two games with sprained ankle."

Beal made his return to action in last night's win over the Golden State Warriors, playing his fourth game of the season after dealing with back injuries since the start of the campaign.

“It’s rhythm and timing, like you can play as much pickup in practice as you want, but it does not simulate the game environment, so sometimes it takes you right away, sometimes it takes you a few games," said Suns coach Frank Vogel after Beal's return.

"Teammates will learn him, he’s learning teammates, where guys are going to be. I can help him and our guys be organized to help him with that, but very excited to have him back out there. He’s a big reason we got a win.”

The Suns wouldn't commit to playing Durant when asked yesterday, as Vogel pointed to Friday as a safe bet for when the future Hall of Fame player could make his return. He was listed as questionable yesterday before being ruled out, though he did go through pregame warmups before the Suns and Warriors took the floor.

Booker himself is back in the lineup and rolling after suffering various amounts of lower body injuries to start the year.

The Suns are 13-10 on the year thus far and hope to extend their winning ways against the Nets starting at 7:00 PM Arizona time.
