Suns Player Criticizes Refs Treatment of Victor Wembanyama

Suns big man Bol Bol isn't a fan of how Spurs star Victor Wembanyama gets treatment from officials.

Phoenix Suns big man Bol Bol isn't a fan of how San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama gets certain calls.

That was evident during last night's 131-106 win over San Antonio, where Bol was picked up by microphones saying, “come on now where? where? y’all d--- riding bro. i get it” after being called for a foul on Wembanyama.

Bol finished with 13 points on 4-5 shooting with four rebounds, one assist and one block. Bol's shot 50% or better from the three-point line in his last three games.

Wembanyama added 13 points with five rebounds, four assists and one block. His seven shot attempts was the least he's had all season.

The two sides will meet again on Monday in San Antonio. Phoenix has now won their last three-of-four.

While Bol didn't exactly have words of praise for the No. 1 pick, Suns coach Frank Vogel says Wembanyama has been nothing short of a force.

“Just a force. I think my favorite part about him is his mindset. Nowhere near soft. He's a competitor to the to the highest. You can tell after games that losing bothers him, and it's not something that he's gotten used to. I've watched all his mannerisms and watch how he carries himself, and he seems like a seasoned vet," he said.
