Devin Booker Can't Wait for Super Bowl to End

Devin Booker would like the extra people in Phoenix for the Super Bowl to leave so that things can return to being quiet.

On Sunday, Super Bowl LVII between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs will kickoff at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.

However, a lot of press, NFL personnel, and fans have been in Phoenix all week, which brings a lot of noise.

Something that Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker would like to decrease quickly. On Saturday night, the three-time all-star tweeted, "Can all y’all get out my city? I like it better quiet."

With it being well documented that Booker is a Detroit Lions fan, many can see why he wants Super Bowl visitors to leave immediately. Plus, the Eagles beat the Lions 38-35 earlier this season. The Grand Rapids native was asked about playing against the Pistons and if he is more motivated against them.

“It’s definitely something that I think about. A lot of my early childhood basketball memories come to mind. It’s always exciting. Probably more exciting when I’m playing there, but even just the color scheme, the gear, everything," said Booker via Duane Rankin of the Arizona Republic.

The Suns face the Kings on Tuesday night at 9:00 pm EST at home, so maybe Booker will be with teammates enjoying the game.
