Suns Reveal Starters vs Mavericks

The Suns will start the game with this starting lineup:

PHOENIX -- The Phoenix Suns are coming into tonight's primetime showdown with the Dallas Mavericks riding a six-game win streak and are slowly climbing the Western Conference standings.

The Suns are sitting at 25-18 on the year while Dallas is 24-19. This game is crucial, at least for the short term, as Dallas winning would ensure they win the season series and thus the tiebreaker going into the postseason.

Suns head coach Frank Vogel opted to stick with the same starting unit that has built so much continuity over the last two weeks:

Devin Booker

Bradley Beal

Grayson Allen

Kevin Durant

Jusuf Nurkic

While much of the recent hype surrounding the Suns has revolved around the growing threat the "big three" poses, the other two starters deserve their flowers as well.

Grayson Allen has been the model of consistency for Phoenix this season, to the point that the veteran out of Duke is the only qualified player in 2023-24 to shoot a 50-40-90 split.

Jusuf Nurkic has been a positive on both sides for the majority of seasons and has shaken the "injury prone" label that has followed him for some years now.

Tonight's game is part of the NBA's "rivalry week" and will be seen on ABC. Suns-Mavericks is set to tip off at about 6:40 PM Arizona time.
