Trae Young Shares What It Was Like Playing In Ex-Suns G Jamal Crawford's Pro-Am

Hawks guard Trae Young recently shared what it was like playing in former Phoenix Suns' guard Jamal Crawford's Pro-Am. He also talked about the Seattle basketball atmosphere.

This past summer, former Phoenix Suns guard Jamal Crawford ignited the city of Seattle when he invited NBA players such as the Lakers' LeBron James, the Atlanta Hawks Trio of DeJounte Murray, Trae Young, & John Collins, and Celtics' Jayson Tatum to name a few that participated in his Pro-Am, "The Craws Over."

On Wednesday night, the Atlanta Hawks took on the Dallas Mavericks, and after the game, Young was asked what it was like playing in Seattle for the first time and the atmosphere.

"That's a fun atmosphere. It was my first time going to Seattle, Jamal [Crawford] has been trying to get me to go out there the last few summer and I told him I was going to, but the schedule hasn't worked," said Young.

"I'm just excited and happy that DJ [DeJounte Murray] was on our team, and it made it even easier process just to go up there with him and bring JC[ John Collins] with us. So, it was a fun environment."

Also after the game on his way to the team bus, Collins shared that he was happy to make the trip up to the 'Emerald City'.

"I was happy to do, I wanted to support my brother and teammate DJ [DeJounte Murray].

After Crawford saw what Young said, he replied with the emojis, the one hundred sign and the pray hands.

Crawford played with the Suns during the 2018-19 season and finished the season by dropping 51 points against the Dallas Mavericks. As for the Suns, they are currently 21-24 and will host the Nets on Thursday night at 10 pm EST.
