Former Phoenix Suns point guard Chris Paul was traded to the Washington Wizards on Sunday as part of a package deal that saw Bradley Beal land in the Valley.

Hopefully he didn't make himself too comfortable in Washington.

NBA insiders such as Shams Charania and Adrian Wojnarowski are reporting that Paul is now on his way to the Golden State Warriors in exchange for Jordan Poole.

Golden State is sending Poole, a protected first-round pick in 2030 and a second-rounder in 2027 to the Wizards for Paul according to Charania.

The Suns were contemplating waiving Paul last week before ultimately dealing him to the Wizards, though Washington was never expected to fully keep him.

Paul had a few different teams interested in his services, as he's still a valuable veteran point guard despite being in his late thirties.

Now, he joins a backcourt that features Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, a duo that has won four championships together.

Golden State head coach Steve Kerr said his team's championship window had been reached, and that was evident when Draymond Green reportedly opted out of his player option to become a free agent.

Yet the Warriors are clearly still looking to contend now, and adding Paul may only be the first of a handful of moves for the squad. They reportedly showed interest in Paul before he was dealt to the Wizards.

As for Washington, their movement may not be done either. Poole comes with a massive price tag after inking a four-year, $128 million contract extension with Golden State that kicks in this season.

Could we see more movement ahead of the 2023 NBA Draft later today? It certainly feels like it.
