Anthony Edwards miraculously returns after ankle injury scare

Edwards was in a lot of pain.

Anthony Edwards left Tuesday night's game between the Timberwolves and Spurs with an apparent left ankle injury, though, much to the thrill and surprise of fans everywhere, he returned to the game for the start of the third quarter.

Edwards appeared to roll his left ankle while away from the basketball late in the second quarter with the Timberwolves leading the Spurs 58-39.

Minnesota head coach Chris Finch immediately called timeout and Edwards was helped directly to the locker room. Moments later Kyle Anderson went to the locker room with a limp, having appeared to ding his knee.

The Wolves were already without Karl-Anthony Towns due to personal reasons.

It looked worse than it apparently was, apparently.
