Anthony Edwards turns ankle 26 seconds into game versus Pacers

Don't worry. He returned to the game a few minutes later.

Anthony Edwards has once again overcome an injury scare, this time just 26 seconds into Thursday's game between the Timberwolves and Pacers when he rolled his left ankle and asked out of the game – only to return a bit later.

Edwards, with the ball in his possession, rolled his ankle – the same ankle that provided an injury scare when he rolled it last week in a game against the Spurs.

This time around Edwards was able to hobble off the court and to the locker room on his own. Against San Antonio, Edwards stayed down on the court in pain before two trainers helped him to the locker room.

He wound up returning after the halftime break after the scare against the Spurs – and this time around he returned to the bench after about five minutes in the locker room and was back in the game at the next dead ball.

It's a sigh of relief for the Wolves, who earlier Thursday learned that Karl-Anthony Towns is dealing with a meniscus injury that could sideline him for an extended period.
