Anthony Davis' Injury Status for Lakers vs Warriors Game 3 Revealed

Anthony Davis remains the most important player on the court.

The Lakers seem to live and die by Anthony Davis all playoffs. He can't seem to consistently have great games, and they typically lose games when he doesn't play well. He'll be playing again tonight, and LA will need him in order to win Game 3.

Anthony Davis is officially listed as probable for Game 3 with right foot soreness. Davis has been listed as probable with right foot soreness since the last series against the Grizzlies and hasn't missed a game - expect him to play.

For one reason or another, Anthony Davis has had a very strange playoffs this season. After every big game, he follows it up with a poor one, quite literally. This goes back to even Game 1 against the Memphis Grizzlies. in Game 1, he put up 22 points, 12 rebounds, and 7 blocks. He followed that up in Game 2 by putting up 13 points, and 9 rebounds on 29% shooting. This is the perfect summary of how Anthony Davis has performed in the playoffs. In some games he looks like the best player on the court, and in other games, he gets outperformed by JaMychal Green.

If the Lakers want to have any chance of beating the Golden State Warriors in Game 3, then they're going to need the dominant Anthony Davis to show up. He just had a bad performance in Game 2, so now he's due for a big one tonight. That's something Draymond Green and the Warriors have to be ready for.
