Anthony Davis' Injury Status for Lakers vs. Warriors Game 5 Revealed

Anthony Davis is the x-factor in this series.

Anthony Davis is officially listed as probable for the Los Angeles Lakers in Game 5 with a right foot stress injury.

The injury is the same thing Davis has had all postseason, so expect him to play against the Golden State Warriors in Game 5 - especially because he hasn't missed a game yet with the injury.

Davis has been a monster in this series against the Warriors, only having one bad game. He's been significantly better against the Warriors than he was against the Memphis Grizzlies last round.

In six games against the Memphis Grizzlies, Davis put up 20.8 points, 13.7 rebounds, and 4.3 blocks on 49% shooting and 83% free throw shooting. In four games against the Golden State Warriors, Davis has put up 22.3 points, 14.5 rebounds, and 2.8 blocks on 59% shooting and 96% free throw shooting. Davis may be blocking the ball less against the Warriors, because they're shooting so many threes, but he's been a far more efficient player in this series.

The one trend with Anthony Davis is that he often has a bad game after having a very good one. If that trend continues in Game 5, then the Golden State Warriors are in luck. If that trend doesn't continue in Game 5, then the Warriors will most likely kiss their season goodbye.
