Draymond Green Reacts to Anthony Davis's Injury Scare

Anthony Davis is doing much better after an injury scare in Warriors vs. Lakers Game 5

Los Angeles Lakers star Anthony Davis suffered an injury scare in Game 5 vs. the Golden State Warriors, taking an accidental hit to the head from Kevon Looney. There were some jokes being made about Davis using a wheelchair following the hit, which Warriors forward Draymond Green pushed back against in his latest podcast episode.

"Just don't play with those head injuries, man. They're serious," Green said. "I saw a lot of people laughing. But it's a hit to the head. One small hit to the head can change everything in your life. So I don't really understand the joke. I don't understand it at all. Every time you step out on the basketball court, the football field, the hockey - on the ice, on the pitch, you're risking your life, because one injury can change everything."

Fortunately for everyone involved, Davis looks to be okay, and is expected to play in Game 6. That said, it was a scary injury, and certainly not something to laugh about. Davis did not look good initially after taking the hit, but has since improved significantly, and was not forced to enter the league's concussion protocol.

While Draymond Green is one of the game's best competitors, he came to the defense of Anthony Davis when some were making a joke out of his injury scare.
