Injury Report: Golden State Warriors vs Denver Nuggets

Both teams have important names listed on the report.

The Golden State Warriors face off against the defending champion Denver Nuggets in the very first Christmas Day NBA games today. Both teams look relatively healthy but have some important names listed on their injury report.

The Warriors have three players listed on their injury report: Draymond Green, Andrew Wiggins, and Gary Payton II. Draymond Green remains out due to an indefinite suspension, Andrew Wiggins is questionable with a general illness, and Gary Payton II is out due to a right calf strain. Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, and Chris Paul are all listed as available for the Warriors.

The Denver Nuggets have three players listed on their injury report: Aaron Gordon, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, and Vlatko Cancar. Aaron Gordon is probable with a right heel strain, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope is probable with a cervicothoracic strain, and Vlatko Cancar is out due to left knee surgery. Nikola Jokic and the entire Nuggets starting lineup will likely all be playing.

Even though the Golden State Warriors could be potentially both Draymond Green and Andrew Wiggins, it's starting to feel as if their starting lineup replacements have become more efficient replacements for the duo. The significance of those two players missing games seems to be lessening as time goes on.

The Golden State Warriors and Denver Nuggets face off at 2:30 p.m. EST today.
